Functioning trains are arriving at 10 minutes apart, according to a tweet by GMA News' Bernadette Reyes.
On Friday afternoon, 1,000 passengers were offloaded at the Santolan Station after a southbound train experienced a case of "wheel slipping or skidding."
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has announced earlier in the week that it will start the "due diligence and system audit" of MRT3.
To serve its estimated 300,000 to 5000,000 passengers daily during regular work days, MRT should have 18 to 20 trains running at any given service time, based on past records. —Jamil Joseph Santos/LBG, GMA News
