Police are now investigating Friday morning's incident in Makati City where two gondola motors fell on a public utility jeepney, hurting four people.

The two gondola motors fell from the 68th floor of the Shang Salcedo Place along Buendia Avenue.

Damage to the jeepney was estimated at P60,000. Falling debris also damaged three other vehicles.

The gondola operator, Antonio Arcilla, and three jeepney passengers were injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

In a statement, Shang Properties Inc. said it will cooperate with the police investigation.

It also promised to shoulder the medical expenses of those injured, as well as expenses for the repair of the damaged vehicles. —KBK, GMA News
