PUVs not allowed to load, unload passengers along Commonwealth due to MRT construction

Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) can no longer load and unload passengers along Commonwealth Avenue where there is an ongoing Metro Rail Transit Line 7's (MRT-7) construction.

According to an Unang Balita report by Bernadette Reyes on Wednesday, some PUVs load and unload passengers along Maginhawa Corner Masaya Streets.

Motorists are warned against heavy traffic in the area.

Personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) are assisting vehicles to at least ease the traffic along the thoroughfare, the report said.

The MMDA earlier provided a re-routing scheme for motorists who will be affected with the construction. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA News
