Crane that killed 2 in Pasay remains at accident site
The part of the tower crane that fell and crashed through a building in Pasay City on Tuesday has yet to be removed from the site of the accident, according to a report by Mark Zambrano on "Balitanghali."
Clearing operations, Zambrano reported, have yet to be performed where the crane fell at the Core Town building near the ongoing construction of the STI Academic Center at EDSA corner P. Celle Street.
Officials of Monocrete Construction, the company behind the construction site, have yet to determine who is at fault for the crash that killed two, including a crane operator, and injured six others.
The crane fell when the pressure of its hydraulic cylinder "went low."
Monocrete Construction refused to be put on camera but said they are investigating the matter. — Rie Takumi/BM, GMA News
