2 dead in Manila ambush


Two men died in Manila after the car they were in was fired at repeatedly by unidentified suspects on board a motorcycle before dawn Wednesday.

According to a report of Olan Bola on Super Radyo's dzBB, the incident happened at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Pedro Gil Street.

 

 

Dead on the spot was the passenger identified as Huocheng Chen, according to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday by Vonne Aquino.

The driver, identified as Chen Weishing Lee, was rushed to the hospital but died as well.

A witness said two motorcycles with two men aboard on each one approached the car while it was at a stoplight. The shots were fired by those on the first motorcycle. Seven gunshots were heard. The suspects fled immediately.

Recovered from the crime scene were six empty shells and one slug of a caliber .45 firearm.

Police are investigating the incident to identify the suspects and to determine the motive for the shooting. — BAP/KG, GMA News
