“Pabalik na sila sa kotse, then this group of guys were calling them names. Napagtripan, sinuntok. Yung pinaka question duon ay: Why would you bring a deadly weapon,” reasons Jeric in a report by Mav Gonzales on Balitanghali.

He said Jeron was already recovering from the deep wounds that he suffered “in his back and on his side.”

“When I got there, sobrang daming dugo,” he continued, adding Thomas bore the brunt of the attack. “Both arms. Naputol ata yung something, muscles. I’m praying he can fully recover from this because sa basketball, hindi natin alam.”

Thomas might have to stay out of basketball for at least one month to to recover from stab wounds that tore his triceps. Norbert meanwhile got 11 stitches on his left arm.

In the report, one of the suspects admitted he had a pocket knife on him and “when they hit me [from] multiple directions, I just defended myself.” — LA, GMA News
