2 arrested, 22 rescued in raid of QC Spa offering 'extra service'

Two people were arrested and 22 were rescued, including 5 suspected minors after the police raided a spa in Quezon City late Wednesday evening, Divine Reyes reported on Super Radyo's DZBB.

A raid was conducted at 96Essencia Spa along Kamuning Road around 10 p.m. by the Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC).

Based on initial information, a complainant reported that there were minors who were giving so-called extra service at the establishment.

The WCPC said a charge of violation of the anti-trafficking in act will be filed against the suspects. — BAP, GMA News
