MRT passengers use umbrellas to shield themselves from leaking roof

The rainy days have caught up even to passengers of MRT — at least those inside a particular southbound train on Tuesday.

Video sent by YouScooper Giselle Visitacion Tolosa shows commuters using their umbrellas while inside the train at Boni Avenue Station in Mandaluyong to shield themselves from the leak.

From Boni Avenue to Taft Avenue Station in Pasay City, MRT employees would come in to wipe the floor in every station, according to Giselle.

MRT and Department of Transportation officials have yet to issue a statement about the incident. —KBK, GMA News
