Brgy. captain accused of mauling teenager expresses intention to surrender
The barangay captain in Manila accused of mauling a 16-year-old boy has expressed his intention to surrender to authorities, according to Luisito Santos' report on Super Radyo dzBB.
Citing Manila Police District Deputy Director for Administration Superintendent Marcelino Pedroso, the report said Felipe Falcon Jr. sent a feeler on Wednesday expressing his intention to surrender to Mayor Joseph Estrada.

Falcon is expected to surrender either on Thursday or Friday.
Physical injuries in relation to the anti-child abuse law charges were already filed against Falcon and five others for severely beating the teenager inside the barangay hall in Sta. Cruz, Manila, last Saturday.
The victim suffered from severe wounds in the head, face and leg from the beating.
Falcon is now the subject of manhunt operations after Estrada ordered his arrest. Estrada also urged Falcon to surrender within 48 hours. —KBK, GMA News
