100 families rendered homeless, 2 hurt in QC fire —BFP official
Some 100 families lost their homes, and two residents were hurt in a fire that broke out in Quezon City early Sunday afternoon.
Sam Nielsen reported on Super Radyo dzBB that the fire broke out at 1:05 p.m. and destroyed houses along Samonte Street in Quezon City's Barangay Holy Spirit, hurting two residents and leaving some 100 families homeless.

Quezon City Fire Officer Jaime Ramirez said the fire of still undetermined origin destroyed 45 houses and left damage estimated at P450,000.
Ramirez said the fire reached the 3rd Alarm before it was put out at 2:34 p.m.
One resident suffered burns and another was wounded in the knee. Both were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire that began on the second floor of one of the houses in the area. —Joviland Rita/LBG, GMA News
