3 killed in Sampaloc fire
Three people were killed in a fire incident in a residential area in Manila early Tuesday morning, according to Carlo Mateo's report on Dobol B sa News TV.

The victims were initially identified as Lynrose Balot Valentin, 50; her son Jordan Valentin, 26; and a 17-year-old relative.
The bodies of the victims were found on the second floor of the house located on Doña Maria Street in Sampaloc, Manila.
Citing arson investigators, the report said the victims lost consciousness due to suffocation.
"Mahina 'yung apoy, malakas 'yung usok, dahil ang laman light materials at mga damit na prone talaga sa usok," said Senior Inspector Lucio Albarasing, investigation chief of the Manila Fire Department.
He said the body of the mother was found embracing her son.
Fire out was declared at 6:47 a.m., just several minutes after the blaze was reported, the report said. It did not even reach the first alarm.
Investigation was ongoing as to the cause of the blaze. —KBK, GMA News
