Modern jeeps from Antipolo straight to Taguig now available

Modern jeepneys traveling from Antipolo going staight to Taguig started operating on Wednesday, March 27.

According to Darlene Cay's report on GMA News' Unang Balita, the route of the jeepneys will start from Cogeo Gate 2 in Antipolo and will end in SM Aura in Taguig.

There are over 20 stops during the ride, including stops at Kalayaan Avenue, Ortigas Avenue, SM Masinag and SM Marikina.

Fifteen units of these modern jeepneys will be available daily and rides will leave every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Antipolo and  6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Taguig.

Fully air-conditioned with a different seating arrangement that caters to more than 30 people, these modern jeepneys will leave on schedule whether they are full or not.

Commuters will pay only a maximum of P43 for journeys coming from Antipolo going straight to Taguig.

Reloadable cards are also now available and can be bought or loaded from the conductors. —Kaela Malig/KG, GMA News
