EAC resumes classes, announces temporary room assignments amid ongoing post-quake building probe
A week after being affected by the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that hit Luzon, the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) in Paco, Manila, resumed its classes on Monday.
However, one of its buildings will still not be used due to the ongoing inspection, according to Cecille Villarosa's report on Unang Balita.
Citing the EAC's management, the report said classes and office operations being conducted in Building 7 will temporarily be transferred to Buildings 5 and 6.
Temporary room assignments of those under business education, medicine, criminology, pharmacy, medical technology and engineering technology are also posted on EAC's Facebook account.
Two independent structural consultants were tapped to check the buildings of the school.
The school's building was found leaning against a neighboring building after last week's earthquake, which was strongly felt in Metro Manila. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA News
