Gian Habal, the six-year-old kid fatally shot by a policeman last week in Caloocan City, was laid to rest on Tuesday, according to Allan Gatus' report on News To Go.

Habal was laid to rest at the Tala Public Cemetery, with his family crying for justice.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar has assured Habal's family that the policeman who shot the kid, Police Corporal Rocky delos Reyes, will be held liable.

Delos Reyes has claimed that he accidentally shot Habal while pursuing a suspect.

Aside from Habal, Delos Reyes also shot the kid's grandmother.

Delos Reyes is facing charges for murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of firearms and violation of Omnibus Election Code. —KBK, GMA News
