A train coach of the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 1 (LRT-1) caught fire on Tuesday.
According to Emil Sumangil's report for GMA News TV's Quick Response Team, fire was seen spewing from underneath a coach at the Blumentritt Station.
LRT1 management said nobody was hurt in the incident, but several passengers had to change trains.
The line also said LRT1 operations were not disrupted as the fire was extinguished in four minutes.
The coach is set to remain at the depot for inspection to determine the cause of fire.
LRT1 had 18 trains in operation as of the report on Wednesday. —Margaret Claire Layug/LDF, GMA News
