4 hurt after wall in construction site collapses amid heavy rains in Parañaque

Four people were hurt when a wall at a construction site in Parañaque City collapsed  at the height of heavy rains Monday night.

A GMA News TV Balitanghali report on Tuesday said the four victims were vendors staying outside the construction site for an eight-storey commercial building next to a line of the Philippine National Railway at Barangay San Martin de Porres.

The report said the wall collapsed when the riprap supporting it gave way due to heavy rains.

The four were rushed to the hospital to get treatment. The contractor of the building has yet to speak on the matter. — MDM, GMA News
