Bus passengers yell at EDSA traffic chief for issuing violation tickets

EDSA traffic manager Bong Nebrija figured again in another heated exchange with commuters on Wednesday, this time with bus passengers who reportedly yelled and threw invective at enforcers who were only "doing their jobs."

According to a report on "Unang Balita" on Thursday, Nebrija posted a video where he voiced his grievance with the passengers who, he said, were inconvenienced by the issuance of traffic tickets during the rush hour.

Nebrija can be heard saying.

One passenger reportedly even told the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority official that his salary comes from taxpayers' money.

Nebrija said.

In an interview on Unang Balita, Nebrija  appealed to motorists to comply with traffic regulations as enforcers are only doing their jobs.

—Margaret Claire Layug/LBG, GMA News
