Sanitation workers gather tons of trash during Baywalk clean-up

City of Manila and Metro Manila Development Authority sanitation workers on Saturday worked together to clear the city's Baywalk promenade of trash and debris.

According to News TV Live bulletin, the clean-up effort started at around 6 a.m., with workers managing to gather several tons of garbage, most of which was plastic waste.

Meanwhile, the piles of driftwood gathered along the Baywalk would be sent off to be recycled. — DVM, GMA News
