Manila cop who chased suspected snatcher gets P20,000 reward from Isko

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Monday granted Patrolman Jonathan Stanley Dionisio a P20,000 reward for his bravery in going after a suspected snatcher.

Dionisio was seen on video chasing a man who was suspected of snatching a jeepney passenger’s gold bracelet.

The suspect was later on released when the victim failed to identify him as the snatcher.

“What matters most is the job. Hindi niya inalintana ang panganib na puwedeng mangyari sa kanya,” Moreno said.

“Sana ito, maging Gremlin. Pag nababasa, dumarami,” Moreno joked, referencing a fictional character in a movie. —KBK, GMA News
