Know Metro Manila’s train schedules this holiday season
Metro Manila's rail lines will implement some schedule adjustments this holiday season, according to a report on GMA News TV's Balitanghali on Tuesday.
LRT1
On December 24, the Light Rail Transit Line 1's (LRT1) last trips will set off from Roosevelt station in Quezon City and Baclaran station in Parañaque City at 8 p.m.
On December 25 and December 30, the last train will depart from the Baclaran station at 9:30 p.m. The last trip from Roosevelt, on the other hand, will leave at 9:45 p.m.
On New Year's Eve, the last trip from both ends will leave at 7 p.m.
LRT2
The LRT2 will also have shorter operating hours on selected dates.
On December 24, the last trips will leave Cubao station in Quezon City (westbound) and Recto station in Manila City (eastbound) at 8 p.m.
On December 31, the last trains will leave the two end stations at 7:30 p.m.
In commemoration of Rizal Day, free rides will also be given by the LRT2 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on December 30.
MRT3
The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT3) will also adjust some trip schedules.
On December 24, the last trains will depart North Avenue station in Quezon City at 7:45 p.m. and Taft Avenue station in Pasay City at 8:42 p.m.
On December 25, the last trip will leave the North Avenue station at 9:10 p.m. and the Taft Avenue station at 10:11 p.m. — Dona Magsino/BM, GMA News
