PDEA seizes P6-M ecstasy tablets in Parañaque
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized around 4,000 pieces of ecstasy tablets worth P6 million inside from a house in an exclusive subdivision in Parañaque.
According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras” on Friday, aside from the party drugs, authorities also discovered a greenhouse inside the house that the suspect identified as Swiss national Thomas Fritz Stucki allegedly uses to plant kush or imported marijuana.
PDEA said Stucki and other members of the group mixes different drugs to create an experimental “super party drug,”
“Bumubuo sila ng iba’t ibang uri ng party drugs. ‘Yong primary na ingredient nila is ‘yong ecstasy tablet na galing pang Europe,” PDEA said.
“Magkakaroon po ito ng masamang epekto sa katawan, especially itong pinaghalo-halong mga party drugs o chemicals na isinasama nila doon sa ecstasy dahil itong mga taong gumagawa nito, hindi naman po chemists so hindi po nila alam ano epekto nito, chemical reaction ‘pag once pumasok sa tao,”he added.
Aside from manufacturing their own party drugs, PDEA said the group also buys high-marijuana seeds from other countries and ships it through the postal office.
PDEA is still investigating the source of the group's marijuana seeds. -- Ma. Angelica Garcia/BAP, GMA News
