Fire breaks out at commercial-residential building in Greenhills
Fire broke out at a commercial-residential building in Greenhills, San Juan on Sunday morning.
The fire, which started at 9:45 a.m., affected the second floor of Annapolis Tower on Annapolis Street, according to a report by Divine Reyes on Super Radyo dzBB.
Firemen raised the second alarm and were using an aerial ladder to rescue residents trapped on the upper floors of the six-storey building.
Some residents were able to get out on their own.
The fire was placed under control at 10:50 a.m.
No adjacent buildings were affected by the fire.
Meanwhile, a fireman got injured by broken glass windows at a restaurant located on the building's second floor.

The Bureau of Fire Protection is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Motorists were advised to take alternate routes since part of Annapolis Street was still closed to traffic as of past 11 a.m. —KG, GMA News
