DSWD office placed under lockdown after employees get COVID-19
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DWSD) office in Quezon City will be placed under lockdown starting Friday, March 19, to Sunday, March 21, after several of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Glen Juego’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, the lockdown will give way to disinfection procedures in all areas inside the DSWD compound.
Meanwhile, regular work operations will resume on Monday, March 22, and will implement a 50% workforce.
Despite the lockdown, the work-from-home arrangement of employees will continue. In a memorandum, the DSWD said personnel with comorbidities will be prioritized.
All employees will also undergo an anti-gen test as part of efforts against the COVID-19. It will be charged against the Secretary’s Directives Fund.
?However, the agency said service providers of janitorial and security services must have their respective personnel tested at their expense.
