Fire engulfs residential homes in Barangay Bahay Toro, QC
A fire hit 40 houses along Barcelona Street in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City on Monday afternoon, authorities and a report from Glen Juego of Super Radyo dzBB said.
A spot report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in the National Capital Region said the blaze, which started at the second floor of the house, was raised at first alarm at 3:31 p.m.

Subsequently, more than ten minutes later, it was raised to a second alarm.
After sending 29 fire trucks, firefighters fully extinguished the blaze at 4:34 p.m., the BFP said as quoted on dzBB.
Fire investigators said the estimated damage in the fire reached P750,000.
Unfortunately, a 62-year-old Risalio Benavente sustained first degree burns on her left and right forearm due to the fire.
About 40 houses and 80 families were affected but no one was killed in the incident, BFP also said.—Consuelo Marquez/LDF, GMA News
