LRT2 halts operations due to technical problem

Light Rail Transit 2 stopped its operations on Wednesday morning due to a "technical problem," according to a tweet by the LRT Authority.

"Intervention is ongoing," it said.

LRT2 extends from the Recto Station in Manila to the eastern part of Metro Manila towards Marikina and Pasig in Santolan.

A report on Super Radyo DzBB, citing LRTA spokesperson Hernando Cabrera, said the train resumed operations at 10:50 a.m. --KBK, GMA News
