COVID-19 beds of 2 QC hospitals now full —local gov't data
COVID-19 beds of two hospitals in Quezon City are now fully occupied, data from the local government indicated Friday.
As of August 5, data showed that the Quezon City General Hospital has a 100% occupancy rate with 93 patients while the Novaliches District Hospital has a 120.80% occupancy rate with 58 patients.
Meanwhile, the Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital has a 92.59% occupancy rate, and the local government noted that this is based on the Department of Health’s 50% bed capacity requirement.
According to the local government, 1,117 out of 1,601 beds are occupied in the city’s HOPE Community Caring Facilities.
Quezon City has validated 110,586 COVID-19 cases.
It has reported 105,198 recoveries, 1,238 deaths, and 4,150 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Philippines has logged a total of 1,649,341 cases, of which 1,544,443 have recovered, and 28,835 have died. —LBG, GMA News
