Power outage hits PGH on Monday night

The Philippine General Hospital lost its power supply on Monday night.

According to a report on Super Radyo dzBB, some patients had to be transferred to other hospitals because the PGH's generator sets were not working.

Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office director Arnel Angeles said the power went back past 10 p.m.

Angeles said authorities were still investigating the reason for the power interruption in the hospital.

The MDRRMO is also coordinating with PGH staff if patients still need to be transferred. -Ma. Angelica Garcia/NB, GMA News
