The Ospital ng Malabon extended its lockdown and would continue not admitting non-COVID-19 patients until further notice due to rising COVID-19 infections among its personnel.

In a tweet by GMA News’ Cedric Castillo on Tuesday, the Ospital ng Malabon extended its lockdown “indefinitely,” according to the local government unit (LGU).

The LGU said the number of COVID-19 infections among the hospital’s health personnel climbed to 66.

The hospital earlier announced that it would temporarily stop admitting non-COVID-19 patients to conduct disinfection from January 2 to 4.

“Ang mga outpatient and non-COVID cases ay maaaring magtungo sa Super Health Center sa Barangay Catmon. Makipag-ugnayan sa Malabon Command Center sa numerong 0942 372 9891 or 0919 062 5588,” it said in an advisory.
