Man shoots up ex-girlfriend's home, kills her son

A man who failed to woo back his ex-girlfriend allegedly shot her loved ones, killing one of her sons, at their home in Quezon City recently.

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras", the suspect was identified as identified as Florencio Martos Rios Jr. alias “Carlos.”

Ana Marie Baluno's son Raven, 21, was shot and killed while he was on a video call with his wife.

Baluno said Rios entered their house in West Fairview, around noon on March 18. He then allegedly shot those inside the residence.

(It's so painful because I don't know how to start again.)

(We were on video call. Then, they said my husband was gone. He had been shot and no longer had a pulse. I can't accept it because I just talked to him.)

Also injured were Baluno's sister Lian and another son Bryan James, who kept the suspect from going to the second floor where his mother was.

Baluno said Rios tried several times to get her back together. But she said he was addicted to betting on online cockfights or e-sabong.

(He doesn't do drugs, but he is very addicted to talpak. Because those days he ran out of money because of talpak. Then he does bad things because he said there are people hunting him. Because of the talpak, he was also able to steal.)

Basta lagi po siyang nanakot” she added.

(He said he couldn't leave me and would fight for me even if he killed someone. He always threatens me.)

Meanwhile, Lyn is crying for justice.

(Hopefully, with what he did, he will not be freed so that he will not repeat what he did. I hope he rots in jail.)
