Francis Zamora proclaimed winner of mayoral elections in San Juan


San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora has been proclaimed the winner of the mayoralty elections in the city.

According to a report on Saksi, Zamora and his party mates on Monday night took the opportunity to have their pictures taken following the win.

As of 11:17 p.m. and with 100% of the election returns already in, Zamora of PDP-Laban had 66,883 votes while Jun Usman of the PMP had 9,413.

San Juan Vice Mayor Warren Villa was also reelected with 55,920 votes. Philip Cezar of PMP had 16,608.

For the city's lone seat in the House of Representatives, Atty. Bel Zamora of PDP-Laban had 49,334 votes while Jana Ejercito of NPC had 27,133. —NB, GMA News
