Fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in a residential area in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Authorities have already raised the fifth alarm as of 1:35 p.m., the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said.
In an update report of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was said to have been put under control at 2:54 p.m. and declared out at 3:23 p.m.
At least 24 fire trucks and 2 ambulances responded to the incident, the BFP added.
