Kian delos Santos’ remains exhumed

The remains of Kian delos Santos, the 17-year-old victim of a drug operation in Caloocan City in 2017, were exhumed on Monday.

According to a report on "24 Oras", members of the Paghilom Program said his family's contract with the cemetery was set to expire.

The remains of two other alleged victims of extrajudicial killings were also exhumed on Monday.

Their bodies will be reexamined by forensic expert Dr. Raquel Fortun before turning over to their relatives for a period of mourning.

The Paghilom Program said it would offer a counseling program for the victims' families. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA News
