Metro Manila areas flooded due to Henry, Southwest Monsoon
Some areas in Metro Manila were flooded on Saturday due to moderate to at times intense rain brought by the combined effect of Typhoon Henry and the Southwest Monsoon.
Lilac Street corner Olive Street in Brgy. Concepcion 2 in Marikina City became impassable to light vehicles due to flooding, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Sam Nielsen.
The Marikina River's level remained normal at 13 meters as of 1 p.m. A first alarm is issued when the river rises to 15 meters.

The Manila Public Information Office meanwhile said that the city government had deployed vehicles offering free rides for commuters in anticipation of possible floods, Super Radyo dzBB's Jhomer Apresto reported.

Several Philippine National Railways (PNR) trips were cancelled due to rains and flooding. The cancelled trips were:
- Tutuban-Alabang
- Alabang-Tutuban
- Gov. Pascual-Bicutan
- Bicutan-Gov. Pascual

In an update, the PNR said that there might be changes in the schedules of trips, depending on the availability of train sets.
