Pasig announces road closures for 2023 Bambino Festival

At least 12 roads in Pasig City will be closed to traffic on January 15 for the celebration of the 22nd Bambino Grand Festival Parade.

In an advisory, the city government on Tuesday advised motorists to take alternative routes as the following roads will be temporarily closed starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday:

  • Road 1 & 2
  • Caruncho Ave. (West Bound)
  • M.H. Del Pilar St. (San Nicolas, Sto. Tomas)
  • E. Angeles St. (Sto. Tomas)
  • Dr. Pilapil St. (Sagad)
  • Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue (Kapasigan)
  • A. Mabini St. (Kapasigan)
  • Plaza Rizal Intersection
  • P. Burgos St. (San Jose)
  • Lopez Jaena St. (Bagong Katipunan)
  • Dr. Garcia St. (Sumilang)
  • R. Jabson St. (Bambang, Malinao)

One of the grandest celebrations in Pasig City, the Bambino Celebration is held to honor the Sto. Niño. Devotees, religious groups, and the general public are expected to watch and join the parade.—Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
