German vlogger nabbed for alleged abuse of minor on his ‘24-hour jowa challenge’

A German vlogger was arrested after convincing a 17-year-old girl to join his vlog content of “24-hour jowa” challenge and then allegedly harassing her, according to John Consulta’s “24 Oras” report on Tuesday.

The victim reported the suspect to the Muntinlupa police saying that he asked her to follow his script for the vlog content that he will post on social media.

However, the minor said she was surprised after the vlog came out that she was made to look like a “pick-up girl.”

Based on the medical examination, the suspect also raped the victim.

The suspect denied that he knew the victim is a minor, saying that he did not do anything wrong on his vlog.

“I didn't do anything to her. Doing something with an 18 year-old is not bawal, only if minor di ba? If I knew that she is minor, I will never ever agree to her, because I’m a mabait guy,” suspect Marcel Messall said.

Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon asked the city council to declare Messall persona non grata in the city.

Dahil yung ginawa niya doon sa isang Muntinlupa citizen, di lang naka-offend sa isang tao, which is the victim, but the entire city, na-portray niya yung city na as if haven ito ng prostitution,” Biazon said.

The suspect is facing complaint of violation of the anti-photo and voyeurism act and rape.

According to the Bureau of Immigration, Messall is also overstaying in the country after his visa expired in 2019.—Richa Noriega/LDF, GMA Integrated News
