Suspect in QC high school bomb threat arrested —QCPD

The supposed suspect in the bomb threat at the Ponciano Bernardo High School has been arrested, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said Friday.

Cubao Police Station cops identified the suspect as Elfrank Emil Anthony Bacle Kadusale, 22, a resident of Barangay San Martin De Pores.

Super Radyo dzBB’s Glen Juego reported that the suspect, who was a student of Alternative Learning System (ALS), made the bomb threat "just for fun."

Classes at Ponciano Bernardo High School were suspended on Thursday morning resulting from the bomb threat.

QCPD's report indicated that teacher Marlon Lalik saw the bomb threat message in the Facebook page of the school, from a certain Bob Key Ser Panganiban.

"May tinanim ako na bomba sa elementary, sasama tayong mauubos [I planted a bomb in the elementary school, we will all be wiped out]," reads the message, which was sent at 12:57 a.m.

QCPD explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) unit responded to the school's call. But the police said the threat turned out to be "negative."

In the past few days, bomb threats were also reported at New Era Elementary School, and San Francisco High School in Quezon City. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
