Face-to-face class cancellations for Wednesday, March 8, 2023

Face-to-face classes will remain suspended in the following areas due to the transport strike by groups protesting the government's Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program:

Las Piñas City - March 8 to 10, 2023 (public schools, all levels)

Pasig City - March 8, 2023 (public and private schools, all levels)

Taguig City, meanwhile, will resume in-person classes in public and private schools at all levels on March 8.

"The resumption of classes is prompted by the observation the past two days that public transportation has not been significantly affected by the ongoing jeepney strike partly due to the well-coordinated Libreng Sakay Program launched by the City Government in partnership with relevant government agencies including some transport groups," the Taguig City government said in a statement. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
