4-year-old dies in Makati City fire

A 4-year-old child died in a fire that hit a residential area in Makati City early Friday morning, Darlene Cay reported on "Unang Balita."

Several houses along General Malvar Street, Barangay South Cembo were affected by the fire that spread quickly as structures were very close to each other and most of these were made of light material.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised a third alarm and was declared under control after about an hour. -- BAP, GMA Integrated News
