Makati number coding scheme suspended on April 6, 7, 10

The number coding scheme in Makati City will be suspended on April 6 (Holy Thursday), April 7 (Good Friday), and April 10 (Monday), the local government announced Friday.

This is in observance of Holy Thursday (April 6), Good Friday (April 7), and Araw ng Kagitingan (April 10), the Makati City government said in an advisory

Makati City implements a separate number coding scheme different from the one implemented in other cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) through the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

The MMDA earlier announced it will suspend the number coding scheme in NCR from April 6 to 10.

April 6 and 7 are regular holidays while April 8 (Black Saturday) is a special non-working day.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. meanwhile issued Proclamation No. 90 moving the non-working day in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan from April 9 to April 10 (Monday). —KG, GMA Integrated News
