Fire breaks out in part of Manila Hotel, later declared out

A fire broke out inside the Manila Hotel on Thursday afternoon, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The fire was located at the hotel's Wellness Center.

The BFP raised the first alarm at 2:50 p.m. and the fire reached 3rd alarm at 3:40 p.m.

It was declared under control at 3:53 p.m. and out at 4:05 p.m.

Meanwhile, according to a report by Manny Vargas of Super Radyo dzBB, the guests were immediately evacuated to a safe place to ensure that they were not affected by the smoke. — Sherylin Untalan/BM, GMA Integrated News
