Pasig traffic advisory, cemetery schedules for Undas 2023

The Pasig City government advised the public Thursday that C. Raymundo Avenue will be temporarily one way from October 31, 2 p.m., to November 1 in preparation for the number of people flocking to cemeteries to remember their departed loved ones.

In a post on its Facebook page, the city government said C. Raymundo Avenue will be one way to vehicular traffic (northbound) from E. Angeles street to Mercedes Avenue. It advised the public to take alternative route.

It said Evergreen Cemetery, Pasig Catholic Cemetery, Santolan Catholic Cemetery, and Pasig City Cemetery (Barracks) will be open for 24 hours on November 1.

Here are the other schedules of the cemeteries in the city:

The city government reminded the public to refrain from bringing to the cemeteries, memorial park, or columbarium alcoholic drinks, guns and other weapons, and equipment that produce loud noises.

It added that gambling is also not allowed in cemeteries.

Pasig City advised individuals with flu-like symptoms to stay at home and avoid going to cemeteries to prevent spread of the disease.

It also urged the public to bring umbrellas and coats to protect them from sun or rain.

Those going to cemeteries were also asked to bring enough food and drinks.

The LGU said first aid tents and police desks will be set up near the entrance of the cemeteries, memorial park, or columbarium.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
