A suitcase said to contain P20 million in jewelry and bags that was accidentally left behind by its owner at NAIA and taken away by another person has been returned.

According to a 24 Oras report on Thursday, owner Maricor Flores posted on social media that she had almost given up on finding the suitcase.

She shared a post by Senator Raffy Tulfo saying that the family of the person who had taken the suitcase had returned it.

CCTV footage from October 1 at around 8 p.m. shows Flores leaving the suitcase behind as she got into her vehicle at the NAIA Terminal 3 arrival area, believing that her driver had already taken it and put it in the car.

Another person is later seen picking up the suitcase and taking it away on a luggage trolley. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/BM, GMA Integrated News
