San Juan traffic rerouting scheme, advisory for Undas 2023


The city government of San Juan said Friday that Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue will be one way from October 28 to November 2 to ease the traffic going to San Juan Cemetery as the public remember their departed loved ones.

On his Facebook page, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora  posted a map identifying the alternate route the public may take, loading and unloading areas, and parking area.

 


He said San Juan Cemetery will be open from October 28 to November 3, 6 a.m. to 12 midnight.

Those who will clean and paint the tomb of their loved ones will be allowed to do so until October 27.

Zamora reminded the public that the following are not allowed inside the cemetery:

  • bringing of firearms and bladed weapons
  • bringing of alcoholic drinks
  • gambling
  • bringing of equipment producing loud noises
  • bringing illegal drugs
  • selling without the special Mayor’s permit
  • throwing garbage at other tombs
  • illegal electric connection
  • bringing of bicycles and motorcycles.
