Taguig distributes new school uniforms for 200,000 students
The Taguig City government has started distributing new uniforms in various schools across the city.
Mayor Lani Cayetano led the distribution held at Bagumbayan National High School.
"Magmula nung kinder kayo, hanggang sa mag-elementarya kayo, nag-K-to-12 na at lahat hanggang sa grumaduate kayo ng senior high school, every step of the way, ramdam ninyo ang pagmamahal ng local government, ramdam ninyo ang TLC ng Taguig,” Cayetano said in a press release.
(Since you were in kinder, until you reach elementary, the K-to-12, and until you graduate in senior high school, in every step of the way you felt the love of the local government.)
The city government said the distribution of uniforms would continue in the next days until all 200,000 students get theirs.
The local government has arranged for "dedicated sizers" for each school who will be present during the distribution to promptly address sizing discrepancies and cater to those who have not had their measurements taken.
