Fire hit the fourth floor of the Pasig City Hall on Thursday morning, prompting the suspension of operations for the day.

In a post on Facebook, the Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO) said the fire reached the first alarm at 9:18 a.m., triggering the evacuation of city hall employees and visitors.

Citing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the PIO said fire out was declared at 9:26 a.m.

No one was reported hurt in the incident, the PIO said.

Due to the smoke, the PIO said operations in the city hall were suspended starting 10 a.m.

"Ang mga non-essential personnel ay pinayuhan na umuwi, at ang mga essential personnel para sa pag-manage ng insidente na lamang ang required na manatili sa City Hall," it said.
