SM North EDSA-Cyber West footbridge closed due to busway project

The footbridge connecting Cyber West and SM North EDSA has been temporarily closed to give way to the construction of the North Edsa Carousel Busway Stride Project.

In a statement posted on Facebook on Friday, the Barangay Sto. Cristo District 1 government apologized for the inconvenience caused by the project.

“Foot bridge connecting cyber west and SM North Edsa will be inaccessible. Existing MMDA footbridge can be used as alternative access,” the barangay government said.

The local government unit added that the project is expected to be finished in 180 days.

Due to this, Barangay Sto. Cristo District 1 warned of possible heavy traffic in case of lane closures.

“Expect traffic rerouting on some days should be there lane closures. The completion on this project will provide better service and convenience to all,” it said.
