LRT1 ops limited due to electrical fault at Baclaran Station

Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) were limited for a few hours on Sunday, May 26, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) said.

This was due to an electrical fault at the LRT1 Baclaran Station.

LRT1 trains ran only from FPJ Station to Gil Puyat southbound (unloading), and from Vito Cruz northbound (loading) to FPJ Station starting at 10 a.m., LRMC said in a post on X.

"Our Engineering Team is onsite working on the electrical fault at Baclaran station. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience," the company said.

Full operations resumed at 12:40 p.m. after repair work was finished.

"As of 12:40 PM, May 26, 2024. LRT-1 has resumed full operations from Baclaran to Fernando Poe Jr. Station and vice versa. Ingat po sa biyahe!" LRMC said in a post on X. —KG, GMA Integrated News
