Palace suspends gov't work in NCR due to Enteng

Government work is suspended in the National Capital Region on Monday due to inclement weather.

This was confirmed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin to Palace reporters.

“Yes, effective 8:30 (a.m.),” Bersamin said in a text message.

Bersamin said the suspension of work for private companies and offices would be left to the discretion of their respective heads.

As of Monday morning, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 was raised  over nine areas due to Tropical Storm Enteng (international name: Yagi), state weather agency PAGASA said.
