300 PDLs evacuated from Manila City Jail due to Sta. Cruz fire

About 300 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) were evacuated after a fire broke out in a residential area in Santa Cruz, Manila on Thursday evening.

According to a report on "Saksi," the PDLs were detained in a male dormitory at the Manila City Jail when the fire occurred.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the blaze in Barangay 310 has reached fifth alarm. —NB, GMA Integrated News
