Motorbike catches fire after hitting 2 pedestrians in Manila

A speeding motorcycle fell and caught fire after hitting two pedestrians crossing Taft Avenue in Manila.

According to Jamie Santos' report on "24 Oras," one of the pedestrians was killed while the other and the motorcycle rider were hurt.

CCTV footage showed that the two pedestrians were crossing Taft Avenue at its intersection on Remedios St. corner Taft Ave at past 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

They were near the center island when the motorcycle hit them. They were thrown off due to the impact.

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office brought the victims to the hospital while the Bureau of Fire Protection extinguished the fire. –Mariel Celine Serquina/NB, GMA Integrated News
